Tuition fees
The costs per semester for bachelor studies at the HSR is as follows:
- Semester fee*: CHF 1000.00
- School material/teaching aids: about CHF 600.00
- Own laptop (recommended)
* All HSR students pay the same fees, no matter which canton or country they were resident in before beginning their studies or where they reside during their studies. Nationality also has no influence on entrance conditions or semester fees.
Scholarships
If required, applications can be made for scholarships in order to finance studies. Every canton has a service that handles financial subsidies for educational purposes. As well as government scholarships, there are a large number of foundations and private funds that support certain goals or categories of person.
Foundation for Promoting the HSR
In particular cases of hardship, provided that the aid from existing welfare institutions is insufficient, the Foundation for Promoting the HSR also grants financial help to students.
