The tuition fees for the MSE are CHF 1000.00 per semester. In addition, there are various costs for learning material and living expenses.
There are several possibilities for financing master studies.
Employment at an institute
It is possible to finance studies through employment at an institute. In this way, the studies are completed part-time and are correspondingly prolonged. The condition for this variant is that the projects of the institute’s employee are clearly distinguished from those he is working on as a student. These institute work places are limited, which requires applications to be made in good time to the respective institute or MRU head.
It is possible to apply for a scholarship. Since the master study course is a part of basic education, there is, as a rule, the entitlement to a scholarship. Apart from state support agencies, such as the cantonal scholarship office, there are also foundations and private funds, to which applications for study aid can be made.
For topping up cantonal scholarships and loans, the Bank Linth grants educational credits to HSR students.
