We often take our discussions outside when the weather is nice – the campus is right on the shores of Lake Zurich. You can take a walk along the lake shore in your breaks or enjoy your lunch at the cafeteria overlooking the lake. What could be more refreshing than a quick dip in Lake Zurich in the summer? Make the most of your proximity to the water with sports clubs like the rowing club.

The HSR campus has a few more features up its sleeve. You can use 3D printers for your projects or borrow all kinds of devices, from a thermal imaging camera to smartwatches, from the gadget library.

Close to Rapperswil rail station

The campus enjoys great public transport links. The Rapperswil rail station is right next to the campus. You can get to the trains and buses in around a minute.

Modern infrastructure

Various new buildings and renovations to existing buildings (work which has totalled more than CHF 60 million) have been completed at the university in recent years. HSR has many labs and additional infrastructure for 1,600 students and 600 staff as well as its offices and seminar rooms. Several lounges and the library provide plenty of room for private study and for R&R during breaks.

Eating, living or exercising at HSR – there’s lots more to explore.
